Proclaiming God's love for all

As a parish we are committed to making God's love known to everyone.

 

The mission to take Good News to the people is not just about being the Church in this parish, but recognising that we are part of the Church in the Diocese, in the Province and in the world.

 

We support the Delhi Brotherhood in India through USPG, are committed to helping Christian Aid in it's world-wide relief work, and encourage active participation in local events and campaigns.
Text Box: We recognise that mission is about more than just preaching in church: it is about being alongside people, encouraging them to see God's love in action in the world, and in their community. At St. Timothy's Church there is: Text Box: Our involvement with local schools means that we have a regular contact with young people, and the schools invite the clergy to take assembly, to take part in lessons (as part of the National Curriculum) and they often visit the church in the course of a year as an element of their studies.

Within the Parish community members of the congregation are actively involved in local groups, bringing a Christian influence to bear.
Text Box: a twice weekly parent & toddler group on a Monday, Thursday & Friday afternoon from 12.45pm to 2.45pm Text Box: a community café on a Tuesday from 12 noon until 2pm offering snacks and hot meals from 80p Text Box: a monthly lunch club on the first Wednesday of every month from 12.15pm to 2pm Text Box: a weekly children's club called Pathwayz every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm
