for allText Box: St. David's is the Parish Church, and was built as a mission church in 1871 to serve what was then a very small village. It became the Parish Church  in 1973. 

Until 1973 the Parish Church was St. Mary's, Caerau, a Christian site since the 13th Century.

St. David's is used not just for Sunday worship by the regular congregation, but is extensively used by the community for baptisms, weddings and funerals and by local schools.
