The Parish of Caerau with Ely

Proclaiming
God's love
for all

The youngest church in the parish is St. Timothy's, built in 1957 to serve the area of Caerau that had seen massive expansion in housing stock post World War II, following the continuing neglect of the parish church (then St. Mary's) and the difficulties faced in reaching the ancient church.

It is situated on Heol Pennar behind the Bishopston Road shopping area.

St. Timothy's has a unique window above the altar, painted to represent the Saint and other holy men.
